Gadsden City Enrichment Program
Gadsden City Schools Enrichment Program was developed to meet the needs of a diverse student population and to provide enrichment services to those students exhibiting high learning potential in each individual school in the system regardless of school achievement levels or ethnic representation. The matrix used in determination is an adapted version of the state recommended matrix. Equitable services are provided through a pull-out program in grades 3-5. Services are equitable in ethnic representation, time and quality provided to students from each school. Students are provided weekly services to include differentiated instruction and activities that provide opportunities for expanding creativity, development of higher order thinking skills, problem solving, and critical thinking skills.
