About Patti Rasberry

My name is Patti Rasberry and I am the guidance counselor at Eura Brown Elementary School. I was an elementary school teacher for eighteen years prior to becoming a counselor. I LOVE being a school counselor and I’m here if you need me. My door is always open!
My philosophy of counseling is that all students have dignity and worth. It is important for me to greet each student by name and with a smile. It is vital to strengthen character traits, such as respect, integrity, honesty, fairness, kindness, and responsibility in all students. Teamwork is of the utmost importance among students, parents, teachers, and the counselor to ensure academic achievement and emotional security.
Along with my responsibilities as guidance counselor, and standardized testing coordinator, I am also the National Elementary Honor Society sponsor. We are proud to be a charter member of this society.
I received a B.S. in Elementary Education from Jacksonville State University, a M.A. in Elementary Education from Spring Hill College, Mobile, AL, and an Ed.S. in Guidance Counseling from the University of Alabama.
I am married to Frank Rasberry. I love to walk, ride bikes, kayak, and spend time on our pontoon boat with our two granddaughters Peighton and Devanne and our Jack Russell Terrier, Leo.
